my friend told me to start using ground mustard and since then I am hooked!!!
I hate yellow mustard and am a strictly ketcup person but this spice tastes nnothing like it.
I put it into EVERYTHING- really. Salads vegetables chicken cholent. It;s a very subtle flavor but it makes everything taste better. try it!
I also use a lot of basil.

I also have different oils and vinegars.
Sesame oil, canola oil, sunflower oil and olive oil.
Rice vinegar, red wine vinegar, white wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, white vinegar, balsamic vinegar. Yes, I use them all!! |
you're gonna have to give a class on the virtues of each type of vinegar ...

My spice staples are oregano, parsley, rosemary (for DH), thyme, "bbq chicken spice" (basically fancy paprika), garlic salt, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. _________________ Emmanuel Tzvi: 26 Shevat 5766

My spices are salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, paprika, oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary, ginger...
And those are just the ones I use often.
My less commonly used ones are cumin, curry (2 types), chicken grill, spicy paprika- cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, white pepper, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, persian rice seasoning, parsley, cilantro, mint, pizza spice, sumac...
And probably a whole bunch of others that I'm not remembering at the moment...

My spice-shelf is really full, although I'm always on the look-out for new and exciting spices while at the supermarket. _________________ Boy (15), Boy (13), Girl (12), Boy (10), Girl (8), Boy (5), Girl (3), Girl (10 m) B"H!!!

| I also have loads of spices, lots of them mentioned here, but another one I love to use on meat and some kinds of chicken recipes is tumeric. Also hot paprkia, besides teh sweet, and although not on the spice shelf, schug and charissa - charissa also goes really well in chopped meat. (I like spicy food, can you tell? DH likes it too, BH, just slighlty less spicy, and even DS who is 11 months old!)
