Amazing recipe.

JUICING THE ORANGES
Scrub the peels of 12 oranges well with a vegetable brush under water to get all bugs off. They should be at room temp to get the most juice out. roll the oranges on the counter to release the juices. then cut them in half and squeeze the juice out into a container, being careful to keep the peel halves intact. I got about 3 cups of juice from 12 oranges.
Scrape the rind and stuff out of the orange peels with a metal spoon, until its smooth and white.

MAKING THE ICES
3 cups of fresh squeezed OJ
3 Tbsp water
8 Tbsp sugar (or 4 Tbsp stevia for a refined sugar free option)
2 Tbsp vodka

Bring the water to a boil in a small pot or pan. Add the sweetener and stir until sugar melts- 3 minutes or so. Remove from fire and mix in vodka. (the vodka doesn't freeze so it keeps the ices much softer.) pour int the OJ and refrigerate.
Freeze in an ice cream maker, then transfer to the orange shells. If you don't have an ice cream maker, spread in a pan lined with parchment paper, and stir/srape every hour until it melts to break up ice crystals. When basically frozen, transfer to orange shells. Freeze for another hour.
