In a cake? I am running very low on canola oil, but have lots of grapeseed oil. Would it work in my baking? I won't be able to get to the store until tomorrow and would really like to do most of my baking tonight!

TIA!

Yes, go ahead! Grapeseed oil has a neutral taste like canola, so it will work in a cake.

Yes, it's totally fine. For the future, there are a lot of neutral flavored oils that are essentially interchangeable: canola, grapeseed, safflower, avocado.
