How do I cook a Kishke not in chulent?

I need to make pareve kishke for a simcha how to I cook/bake it?
in water or with out water?

Leave the rolls in the paper, bake in water covered.

Kishka with Gravy

kishka
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup warm water
3 T sugar
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
mix everything together and place in parchment paper, put in freezer till solid

Gravy
Heat 6 T oil and add 6 T flour, cook a bit, add 4 cups water, boil, add 4 T onion soup mix, 3 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp salt, (if u like sweet then add 1-2 T sugar) boil and pour over kishka, bake on 350 for one hour covered

if you are using frozen rolls, you can just make the gravy and bake as directed

Are you baking rolls or slices?
I bake rolls in their wrappings, uncovered, on a pan to catch the drippings.
I bake slices, uncovered, on a cookie sheet. Takes half the amount of time as full loaves and should be eaten right away.
Yummy.
