The J-shaped candy cane represents Jes--. That's why it's shaped like a J.
I think it's sad that reform Jews aspire to celebrate X-mas.

I didn't know that about the candy canes. I like peppermint though. My brother has a 21 yr old former non-Jewish foster child who wants to convert reform and who wants us to make the brachas on the Chanukah candles over the phone because my brother is not much help. So we have Jews who act like non jews and non jews who act like Jews.

That was funny! Thanks for sharing.
To the person who posted about Reform Jews, please don't stereotype them. I know lots of Reform Jews who want nothing to do with Xmas and are proud to be Jews. Many of them are in my family and my friends. They are deeply Jewish, even though they do it different than we do.

This is 100% false and how dumb rumors get spread. It is a crook.....a Shepard's crook. Not a J.

And I thought the candy cane was a hook so that it would stay on the tree!
