Chanukah and x-mas are coming up, and I'm a new, appreciative, and thankful employee here at a Jewish Modern Orthodox school in New Jersey. I plan on giving Starbucks gift cards to my coworkers; what would you suggest as gift card amounts? I was thinking $15 for my immediate colleagues (including secretary, supervisor, and helpful co-teachers) and $25 for the principal. Is this excessive? I'm NOT worried about this being taken as a bribe or as being inappropriate; it's a very relaxed environment, so please don't comment on that. Just the denominations: are they excessive or too little?
