While this is all true, the fact is without a house you don't have a home, without medicine you don't have health.
I guess I'm feeling a bit ungracious because of an e-mail posted on a list I belong to. The poster's sister has many health problems as does her son. The father took off from work to help his family and was recently fired. They have medical bills they can't pay, and all sorts of trouble. Money, whether it is something they earn or are given, would help.
We can't afford to buy our house and because we are renting from Amana I am constantly afraid that we will be kicked out and I don't know where we would go then. This makes for frayed nerves and fear, and that doesn't help make Shalom Bayit. I guess I'm not strong enough in my bitachon to believe that everything will be okay. Sorry.
