Too matronly. That's for great grandma, not a hot young babe like you.

I would love it in a different color.
Before paying for anything go to the gemach.
Also dip searches for under $100
Give us your preferences and I'm sure someone will find something (our have it in their closet)

I always do very well at Nordstrom and they are so helpful and will even try to source material for you to "tznius" up a gown. You'd be surprised, some of their gowns are very reasonable.

I'll give you this - it IS beige (first rule of being a mother in law - wear beige. Second rule is keep your mouth shut.)

But I really think you could do much better. Where do you live? Unique Boutique in Flatbush has gowns for mothers in law that are reasonably priced, and the owner (Zelda) is great at taking one look at you and telling you exactly what would be flattering. It's even worth a trip in

Hatzlacha - you will be the belle of the ball

Greenie, This dress is very pretty and real classy. Not at all glittery, nor too matronly!!

It's so perfect for you IMO!

I'm surprised how reasonably it is priced. It looks much more expensive IMO.

I love the look on most of the dresses that Peppermintvibe has posted, although as far as I know you Greenie, you don't go for the typical macheteneste look...
I also like the dress you posted a link from; The one from London. That is so gorgeous!!
