Has anyone taken the new version of the GED in NYC? What was your experience?

Thanks amother! My question actually has two parts, first about the tasc itself, and then the test taking process in nyc specifically.
Was it very different from the regular regents/ged test format?

I never took regents so I'm not sure what they are like. I heard that the GED was a lot easier but the state is still tweaking the TASC exam so currently you can pass with less correct answers. The hardest sections were math and science but you need basic knowledge in all subjects unlike the GED which was mostly reading comprehension.

Thank you for that. Math and some sciences are my weak points... I guess I need to brush up on those. Any recomendations?

I heard there is a TASC preparation book with practice tests. Also when you take the exam answer every example because most of it is multiple choice and then you have a greater chance of making it. Not sure about what you should do about the evolution questions though.

Has anyone taken the computer based version of the test?
If yes, why did you choose it over the paper based version?
