Just wondering- does something you spray kitchen counters with need to have a hashgacha??

My husband says no, it detracts from food (soapy). Me, I try to make sure I use stuff with a hechsher on the table and counter.

Nope. It's not food. Our (yeshivish) Rav said not even for Pesach. I know not everyone holds that but he said oven cleaner is not food; it can't be chametz when asked if it needed to be kosher l'pesach.

I was told it does not need a hashgacha, but you should AYLOR.

Chassidish DH says "no". Now days soap is not made with lard, so it's not an issue anymore.
