Palestinian man drove into a crowded light rail stop near Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem, plowing down pedestrians. Nine people hurt, 3 month old baby killed.

Family of the baby on the way home from the kotel, waited years to have this baby.

I can't handle.

I'm so upset and saddened by this. This could have been me and my family - we could have very easily taken a trip into town on the train and been at that stop. I really think my little bubble of this neighborhood is safe but there's this, and then in the summer there was an attack in french hill which is nearby and the attack right near zvill which is also just minutes away. I just wish it wasn't this way and I'm so saddened for this innocent little girl and those that were injured. And then I saw the video where they had the arab who did it and wheeled him onto a stretcher...couldn't they have just shot him then and there?? That would have been justice!

Ditto to everything you said. I am really saddened by this and have been crying from the death of the baby. I think it scares me that this could've been me and my baby ch"v we live just minutes away from that station. I feel so sad for the parents. My husband suggested that I say the whole Sefer tehillim over the month (the way it is divided) as an iluy nishmasa for the baby (I did this in Elul for Aron sofer) anybody want to join me? I will be saying it for the baby and for a refuah shleima for the father and anyone else wounded in the attack ( I will also have in mind the woman of the thread about her husband kicking her out in her ninth month)

Since the summer a 'quiet Intifada' has been raging in Jerusalem.
Quiet as in being largely ignored and/or played down by the media and as in the very laconic response by whatever authorities who should be doing more to ensure the safety of the city's residents.
Maybe after this latest heartrending incident this will now change but somehow I doubt it.

OH MY GOODNESS!

I know this family!

You cannot imagine what wonderful, wholesome, chessed-oriented people the Brauns are.

The baby HY"D grandmother runs a tehilim group and devotes countless hours to chessed, shidduchim, Puah, etc. She is the most ehrlich person you can ever meet.

The couple had been waiting 2 years for this baby! Nebach, nebach, nebach.

It is so, so sad.

I can't ...
