I put cabbage in my chicken soup- I put it in one of those vegetable bags so the cabbage isnt floating around... it gives the soup a great flavor. and when I have extra coleslaw bags I put in the freezer to use for soup....

Just make sure the bag is BPA-free.

I'd make eggrolls with it. Or use it inside pastrami bourekas - keeps the pastrami moist.

it's a a good thing I'm used to people making jokes at my expense. I know it was too tempting Smile I meant the contents of the bag-not the actual bag.

Yeah, almost as tempting as egg rolls Smile

Sorry if you were hurt. I didn't mean anything by it. Just funny language invites me to come play.

You can freeze it and used in any cooked cabbage recipe - soup, sauteed, etc. - when you have time to think about it.

Saute an onion. Throw in cabbage. Stir occassionally until semi cooked. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Smear duck sauce on eggroll wrappers. Roll up and fry. Yummmm.

You can add shredded pastrami to the cabbage mixture before filling wrappers.

Enjoy!
