My dh buys a few fresh bagels and we each spread what we like best on it. I also make a huge pot of hot cocoa, and week after week the recipe gets better and better. In a saucepan, I boil up milk, a TON of cocoa (Shufra’s premium only) and a bunch of sugar/sweetener, vanilla, and coffee. Cook until it starts rising, then close the flame and run with the saucepan to the milchig sink in case it does over flow (please stop laughing). I also have a nice milchig pitcher so it’s like a melavah malka, and a nice atmosphere. It all takes 2 minutes. When it’s freezing, we skip the bagels and I make farina. As a treat on M’Sh the kids put ‘hot cocoa mix’ on it instead of regular cocoa. I also thing music is a must (or zmiros).
