| Hi. I wonder if anyone here has any advice. My baby is 13 months old, and is waking up on a daily basis wet till her neck!! I finally caved in and bought the most expensive daipers, Pampers, hoping it would do the trick, but, alas, she's soaking through every night. What to do?!

change her diaper in the middle of the night before she soaks through. I did that for months until my kid learned to fall back asleep in the middle of the night without his bottle. it must be so uncomfortable to be soaking wet and sleeping.

A bigger size diaper (although if it's leaking that much, a change will still probably be necessary).
DS doesn't leak that bad...I put him in a larger diaper to sleep at night and use his regular size during the day. _________________

huggies makes an overnight diaper. or you can buy a diaper doubler. _________________ I'm not a doctor, I just play one on tv.

DS doesn't get a bottle before bed, and he wakes up wet, but "contained" in the diaper. It took about 2 days for him to learn to go to bed without a drink...might be worth considering. _________________ Emmanuel Tzvi: 26 Shevat 5766

try pampers CRUISERS. also, if baby is still in size 3, get size 4 for at night.
good luck! I had the same thing. also - does baby drink during the night? if so, time to stop! been there, done that! _________________ "G-d's gifts to you are your talents...How you use them is your gift to G-d."

| Thanks for all the replies. Yes, she does go to sleep with a bottle, she absolutely refuses any other way. How do you get them to sleep without it? She just screams without it!!

I am not sure the name of the diaper but there is a diaper thats double the thickness. About putting her to sleep without the botle the first few nights she will cry till she learns if u can cope with the crying. _________________ Ltlesmartmom

| Tell her that she is a big girl now and bottles in bed are for babies, but she is a BIG girl so she doesn't need it. Or one day the bottle just '' disappeared'' got lost and mommy '' forgot'' to buy another one. Is it possible also to maybe buy her a toy she can go to sleep with and make sure she is well fed before.

He NEVER went to sleep with a bottle, although he did nurse to sleep as a newborn. Once we started solids I found that if he ate enough in the evening he didn't want more than a nip before bed, and it was more for comfort. So we (I) started just cradling him for 5 minutes and singing, or reading a story instead of actually nursing. The first night he cried for 10 minutes. The 2nd night he was so tired he just fell right asleep, and after that it was no problem.
