I bought some n sale and would like to use part for Shabbos. My family does not go for coleslaw, and I don't have too many "interesting" ingredients, Also, since I have little kids, any recipes with nuts, seeds or other choking hazards are out.
Any suggestions?

Saute the cabbage with some onions and garlic and mix with cooked egg noodles or farfalle/bowties.

Add salt, pepper and a sprinkle of sugar.

YUM! One of my favorite dishes.

My family loves egg rolls. Sauteed cabbage is a main part of the filling. Good warm or cold if well drained.

Wow! Thanks for all your ideas. Now I just have to choose. Smile
And yes, slivered almonds (and all nuts, even chopped) are choking hazards.
