2 weeks till day camp starts in lakewood

my high school boy is off from school & still no day camp - why doesnt Lakewood have day camp for (oh my goodness) 5 weeks instead of just about 3 weeks. I think the system should change. what is one to do when both parents work & the kids need to be entertained.

I have elementary age kids.
They are going to camp a week before day camp
And depending on when camp ends they may end up going to a camp a week before school starts.
The system is not setup for 2 working parents. and why should anyone change it because everyone keeps sending to these places with lousy schedules.

Because the counselors are yeshiva bachurim and the yeshivos are still in session. The camps need to wait till their staff is available before opening!

I wonder if she means that she wishes her son would have meaningful structure to his day as opposed to worrying how her son is occupying himself while she's at work.
