I just bought the 6L one at costco, came home and realized that I don't know how good it is on stains. I've heard that it's a decent brand, but how does it compare to the better brands (Tide etc.) when it comes to removing stains?

I think it's better than Tide, but I always try to pre-wash stain before putting things in a machine.
I guess it also depends on the types of stains you have.

I have used it.
For stains either scrub it separately before or let it soak. I do that with all stains and any detergent anyway.
