| What do they cost, and where do you get them? (I mean as flat as a pancake, or close to it. I'm most comfortable in a slipper, when the heel area and the toe area are level). Leather preferred.

| My daughter is in love with the Chinese slippers, on the street they’re $1 and you can match one to your underpants every day for that price!

| Any LEATHER recommendations? I'm most comfortable in leather. I also like the slippers with the bumps in the toe area ( a space for each toe). I tried the Chinese slippers in the stores, and wasn't crazy over them.

| Hands down Naots are the way to go. I have Naots, Crocs and the chineese slippers and I love my Naots. They are a little pricey but they last for years. If you find that it smells you can get a style where the insol can be replaced. It takes a few days to break into it but once you do that is all you'll wear.

I used to live in Chinese slippers during the summer, but had to stop wearing them b/c I got a stress fracture in my foot.
Now I wear my Naots all the time.

A few years ago I bought flip-flops for my son for camp and when trying them on found them to be so comfy it had arch and toes and just good support ... on sale for 1.99 at old navy - I wore them for years in the summer - can't find any made as well even from same store ... what a pity ... I took my sons and wore them too! I used to wear birkenstocks - now I need orthotic support in my arch cause I tore it in the summer. _________________ don't wonder why people go crazy ... rather wonder why we don't

| I wear, depending on my mood - Chinese slippers (I've gone through 3 pairs this year), crocs, imitation Naot (White Mountain), Aerosoles slides with a slight wedge that can be worn as sandals too. I guess I have all the options that you all put out.
