I applied to the adhd forum still waiting. I am trying times start a home business seeking some Jeffery that I make which has generated some interest. However not only do I know nothing about business I have freaky bad adhd which presents unique changes when trying to ruin a business.I'm not yet in a position to pay but I was hoping maybe a student coach could help me get things going.I need help with orginization and prioritizing and just the general what's next route of thing.

I am not any sort of coach, but very organized and detail oriented person.
I think I'd be able to help, not looking for any pay, but I don't have a ton of time to help.
Would also be great if you're up early in the AM as I'm usually up after 4 am and not too great in the evenings.
But I don't know anything about running a business per say, just a household.

You're so sweet but I think that wouldn't work for me. The adhd brain processes input differently than others do. Without an understanding of how that process works your methods of provocation aren't going to work for me. It's like trying to teach music to someone who is instantly tone deaf and can't hear the difference between the notes.

some of the most successful business owners have adhd. you can absolutely be successful at business with adhd.

I don't have adhd but I have a business and a kid with adhd so if I can be of help with specific questions let me know. My daughter will most certainly work with me in my business one day (not that she knows it yet--- she's 7-- lol). Smile

I probably have ADHD, though it was never diagnosed. All my kids except one have the diagnosis.

I have read a lot, but never come across the idea that a person with ADHD can't learn how to be organized better except from a specialist. We find that the basics are the basics.

For me and my kids, we find it may be harder to transition into an organizing/non creative activity, but once we start, we can go into hyperfocus and make a lot of headway. (I might add as a music teacher that only a teeny percentage of the world is truly tone deaf. Lots of people think they are, but can really be taught.)

I think you should take up the generous offer that kollel wife posted here. Looking for exactly the right kind of help before moving forward may just be a way that you are resisting the transition and procrastinating.

Thanks but I'm soaking from experience here. When people with little time and natural orthogonal skills try to help me I lose focus abd they lose patience.been through this many times before. Right now I need specific help on starting a business. I need mentoring, some handholding till I learn the routes. What risks to take, and what not to take, what Steps have to be taken abd what order do I take them in, how do I keep track of the money, ect....I can make the induct but beyond that I'm lost and broke. The generous offer she have was touching bit she says specifically she has little time and that it comes naturally to her.

I have some people who are trying to help nee note but they are helping by doing things for me. I need someone who can teach me to do these things myself and these people can't(not practical fir several reasons)

omg that third link is EXACTLY what I need but it requires significant money. This is a big catch 22 fir me. My adhd had kept me from making money but any option I have found that can provide real help costs money. Grrrr.
