Melatonin and pesach

Anyone know if melatonin is ok for pesach use? Is it kitnios?

According to the OU book you can use non chewable pills (over the counter & prescription) over pesach even if they contain kitniyios or even chametz since they are inedible but if an equally effective chometz free option is available you should use that instead. I plan to take my melatonin.

Me too! The chumros upon chumros that was coming out of the Blumenkrantz book were really making me crazy. I believe that pesach should be manageable & not crazy overwhelming. It's hard enough without any extra stuff IMHO!
