Hi.

So, I am wondering if someone outthere can explain to me what "working for the board of Ed" (as a teacher)actually means. I am a SEIT teacher and Everyone I meet always tells me....

"gee, you should really work for the board of Ed.. blah blah blah".

but im embarrast to say and explain to these ppl , that I dont really know what that means...

does a BOE affiliated school have to hire me?... is there a process you must go through to get hired/nominated?

TIA for anyone willing to sit down and explain this to me..

cheers

it's not so difficult.. working for the BOE means being a public school teacher! As someone who does it, it's nto as wonderful/easy/amazing as everyone makes it sound. It's MUCH MUCH harder than seit and a lot less flexible...
