I think it's good for 3 months.

But to be sure, call the Misrad HaPanim (Ministry of Interior) for info. You will need to go there to extend your visa, if necessary. There is a small fee for doing this.

If you don't know where to find the branch clostest to where you are, call *3450 or dial 12223450.

They give you one at the airport - a tourist visa - that's good for 3 months.
You have to make an appointment NOW! They usually will only give you an appointment for in a month from when you make it...and it takes forever to get in touch with them....

Small correction so they don't know you are a chutznik: misrad haPNIM which means interior. PANIM means face, or something forward facing.

yes, there is a misrad hapnim off yafo, on shlomtzion hamalka.
heres their fax #: 02-6294750

fax them that u want an app't for a visa and ask them to call u (put every # u have). don't bother trying to call them, they don't pick up the phone. when they call u (takes about a wk), make ur app't and ask them what u need to bring with u.

hatzlacha!
