I would really like to know if there is a decent place to buy produce....shupersol in gilo was understocked and the celery I bought was downright floppy.

I don't know about there, but go to a fruit and vegetable store, not to the supermarket. They will almost always have much better, fresher produce.

Mega in the Malcha mall will almost certainly have decent produce (on the expensive side), if you can get there (it's very close to you). They have a whole separate health food section.

Mega at Malcha is where I bought the icky celery...

shabbatiscoming, givat masuah is near the zoo and beit halochem. if you take begin south and follow the signs, you will be there in no time.

I can't seem to find any fruit/veg stores in givat masua. there is a little makolet but that is why I am asking. I can't google in hebrew!

I discovered that the super sol in kiryat yovel has delivery. since I am on the top floor, no elevator, I am happy to use their service. I shop they deliver. boom. yay!
