Something nice to do in NYC in evening

Wanted to go to Manhattan for DH bday-out to eat. Looking for ideas of something to do before or after.

do you want to spend money? if so, how much? there are a lot of things to do depending on your budget... you can see a bway show, go for a horse and carriage ride, go ice skating in central park or rockerfeller center (if they're still doing it now,) if I think of anything else, I'll post more...

didn't want to spend tons, bdway show tickets, good ones at least, are $100+, wanted something not that expensive and fun

We like to walk in the park in the good weather, but that's more of a Sunday thing, I think.

Are you willing to go to any show?
Avenue Q has $45 rear mezz tickets, and the theater is very small, so it's not a bad view.

We went ice skating in central park , it was a lot of fun! There's a website called retsaurants.com where you purchase gift certifiactes for half price.. you can search for kosher restaurants and use them as credit at the restaurant (they have places like Talias Steakhouse and Park East Grill...

check out new victory theatre - not sure what is there now but is family appropriate and can get balcony seats for 10-15 $.

Ave. Q is definately not for kids, although I have not personally seen it. Ask Defy- she's probably seen it as that is the puppet in her Avatar.
