I would like some help with an issue that just came up.
Does anyone know of a hotline/therapist or a support group for young children (6 yr old) who have been molested.

The Police department has a unit for this that includes therapists and/or can put you in touch with the appropriate therapy.

I would check your phone book (for me it's on the second page) for child abuse or assault. There is even a kids help line. It's under Important Numbers. or call your operator and get a number.

SOVRI Helpline is an anonymous and confidential helpline that provides information, support, and referrals to Orthodox Jewish survivors of s-xual abuse.

The helpline is open Mon-Thurs 9:30am-5:30pm and Fri 9:30am-1:30pm. The number is 212.844.1495.

The SOVRI Helpline is an anonymous and confidential helpline staffed by trained volunteers who provide help, information, support, and referrals to Orthodox Jewish survivors of s-xual abuse. We don't have caller ID. Our volunteers have received over forty hours of training in the dynamics of s-xual abuse, listening and counseling skills, emergency department protocol, legal protocol, post-traumatic stress disorder, domestic abuse, childhood s-xual abuse and incest, and recommending appropriate resources. Our volunteers are supervised by licenced social workers with extensive experience in dealing with these issues. SOVRI Helpline is under the auspices of Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan.
