Photographer for upsherin prices and suggestions

I can't believe I am making upsherin soon but I am. Time flies bh. So, I see a ton of photographers on Facebook and they all look good. How do I choose one? Also, we've never gotten professional pictures, what's the price range for pre and post upsherin pics?

Any suggestions for people you used? I think I would prefer a woman just because I think ds will listen and relate better with one.

the frum women are pretty good but it usually costs upwards of $200 with the sitting fee/ some prints.
In general, they are way better than the cheap studios.
With one exception: target - I got awesome pics for my son's upsherin and the before and after pics came out to $80 and they look really really good- the lady there knew all the upsherin poses and I was really impressed.

thanks! That's what I'm saying, even the frum ladies, I have at least four of them as "friends" on fb. I see finished products, but I don't see how they worked with the kids etc...

snapshots studio in bklyn is very reasonable. cant say much about the photographers bec it depends on who you get. I dont think theyre as good as the professionals but way cheaper.

Try blimakleinman.com She is gives you whatever time it takes till she gets the perfect shot. Iv'e used her 3 time already.

Bump. Still looking quite desperately.

I wanted to book someone but she's in the country till after the Upsherin. Any other ideas ladies.
