Dessert wine

I have a recipe that calls for dessert wine
what do I use?

wines that are made for dessert are typically sweet wines. They should also state on the bottle that they are a dessert wine. If you are looking for an alternative to wine probably a white grape juice would work. But it would depend on the recipe and amount required.

I don't have the cookbbook but the white grape juice would probably work, maybe even apple juice.
