Your local library may have a site where you can reserve books to pick up and check out digital ones for free.
You can watch movies and tv shows on hulu.com and several other sites.
You can play games on pogo and several other sites.
You can read blogs on virtually any topic that interests you.
If you have a favorite magazine, they probably have a site full of articles you'd like.
You can do your banking and pay your bills.

| I go to a site that has a weekly crossword puzzle, save them on my machine, and print a bunch before going on a long trip or other activity where I know I will be sitting around in limbo for a long time. (You can also solve the puzzles right on the computer).
