Suite/ Condo in Florida - Can you suggest an affordable one?

I need to take my child to florida to a doctor there. Honestly I cannot afford it at all but I am at a point that I just have no choice and he was the only doctor that could help her. I need to stay for at least 8-12 days so I really need a place that has two rooms (2 beds and a sofa with eating area kitchenette) suite or condo style. I was hoping someone wouldnt mind lending me their apartment leshem mitzvah but I am not having success being that I dont know people who own apartments. At this point I MUST go.

So I am wondering if anyone had a good rental suite or condo suggestion that is affordable. It must be clean due to child's intense respitory problems. I have spent the day looking online but many suites are just one room with a king bed and sofa. Being that we cant afford to fly and driving is cheaper DH is coming with me and we need the 2 beds and sofa. And a fridge/ microwave is important so I dont have to buy out every day....

Please let me know if you have a good suggestion! I hope to leave after Tisha B'av - so thats beginning of august.

You can try the local bikur cholim organizations even chai lifeline. They may have something that you are looking for or recommend the right people to get in touch with . Good luck and refuah shelaima

Thanks, I tried. They told me that they get too many requests for apartments there and therefore they dont deal with it (I was pretty surprised). I've been making calls for over a month but at this point I cant wait much longer and must go so I know Hashem will send me the $ somehow but I just need to find a decent place...Anyone know anyone renting their condos or timeshare, or have an "in" with a hotel to help me get a good deal?

Really that's surprising. Have you checked out the old crowne hotel it's called Churchill suites. I have never been but I have heard of other frum people staying there for an extended period. I am sure they would have 2 beds. Also it's the summer so they should have better rates.

The website said they have discounts for stays extending past five days.

Yea they only have one room rooms available and its 160-190 a night!

does it have to be Miami? a villa in Orlando which I stayed in a few years ago is 80 a night the last 2 weeks in August

Maybe get in touch with the North Miami Beach Community Kollel www.nmbkollel.org or the one in Miami. A lot of Miami area frum families go away for all or part of the summer and someone might be willing to lend you their place under the circumstances.

I have rented an apartment on Collins & 66 (iirc, somewhere in the 60s), the new casablanca. Two double beds, small kitchen, bathroom, closet, table/chairs, tv with basic channels for 59$ a day

Where in Florida do you need to be? Bikur Cholim arranges housing right near Memorial Hospital in Hollywood.
