Anyway, this kind of shows (me) that the like button isn't particularly helpful. I had no idea. Do people now go back and check their posts every day to see how many people liked them? 
Oh, and I think mummiedearest's comment was very witty and extremely deep.

wow, I'm honored. send the schmerling via pm, please. I didn't realize anyone "liked" that post. lol. and I didn't realize people compared "like" numbers. maybe we should have a counter on top of the homepage so people can compete and campaign. (like my post here, I'll send you some chocolate, do away with homework and have chinese food in the cafeteria every wednesday instead of mystery meat!) heh heh.
thanks, all! now let's get those new buttons. they would save a lot of typing effort.
