If someone is a community rabbi or in any position that people confide in them, they OF COURSE should not be sharing that info. To me the only question would be whether a personal friend assumes you would tell dh, but a professional position or a community leader would be a different category altogether and that info should definitely NOT be shared.

| so a question to those who answered #4: suppose you told your bff about your menstrual irregularities or your cracked nipples from nursing...you would be ok with your friend telling that to her dh because after all they are also one person?
