I am geferlech. I have only 1 table in my flat.

Also the room with my table is my:
dining room
play room
study
laundry room
daughters bedroom
kitchen

Anybody has somewhere for me to move, so that we can dedicate a special room (and table) to shabbos.

My grandparents have a huge kitchen with a table where they eat breakfast and often lunch. I really dislike it, I think it's never as peaceful as a living room.

When I first got married a woman who is middle-aged, heimishe, married of most of her children already was incredulous when I told her that we don't need a kitchen table (our kitchen was too small anyways.)

I told her that there is no way that everyone from "der heim' (europe) had two tables, who could afford it?! and she said ever so matter of factly that "of course everyone had a dining room table and a kitchen table!"
