Hebrew name for Francis?

We know that a person was called Francis and was Czech born before WW2 and died about 30 years ago. Does anyone know what a typical Hebrew name would have been for that name?

it may also be from a name not similar in sound.

I really have no clue, but the only hebrew name that is sort of similar to Francis that popped into my head is Pinchas. Might be too much of a stretch, though.

Pre war I doubt Efron was much used.

Francis means "from France." So as far as similar meaning, I can't think of anything...

My mother's name is Frances, changed from the original version it was meant to be - Fanny.
Perhaps this man had a similar situation?

You may want to speak with closer family members of his if there are still any. His Hebrew name may be recorded somewhere.

My mother's mother was Fanny - her Jewish name was Freidel.

For a man, I'd think Chaim.
