I am watching two delightful boys for a few hours daily this week. They are 4 and 6. I only have bigger kids so I am no longer used to young children.

What activities would you suggest to keep them entertained? I was thinking bubbles; but I need some indoor activities because of the heat. I can't do things like finger painting. I could do coloring.

Thank you for your suggestions.

if it's not too hot go outside, even if it's a hot just make sure they drink a lot or go in sprinklers to keep them cooler, either at home or at the park.
bake cookies, make your own pizza. color? if they like too, ask them what they like to do. maybe play with toys/cars etc, maybe they can bring some of their own toys if you don't have. ask their parents what they like to do.

Great ideas. I can set up a sprinkler. I forgot how little kids love stickers. I amalready set with my supper tonight. I am glad you suggested pizza because the only thing I could think of is hotdogs and french fries.

The toys from home thing might be tough in this situation.
