I've stopped dying my hair and my wig does not cover my grey sideburns. Can I add highlights to my wig to solve this problem?

You can have your wig cut to cover your peyos. Is that what you mean? I don't think going lighter will help.

You have have gray hair added to the sides of your shaitel I suppose (if your real gray hair peeks out a drop when your shaitel moves accidentally it won't be so obvious. But wouldn't it be easier (and cheaper) to just cover-up your gray sideburns/peyos with eye-brow pencil?

I've seen blondish sheitels that were frosted and they looked very good. But I've never seen it done with a dark sheitel. You could try a paula young sheitel before you do it to a good sheitel just to get an idea of how it would look. They have ones that are 50% grey and 50% Brown/Black.

I have a friend with a shoulder length brown sheitel. Last time I saw her in it she had done some grey highlighting and it looked amazingly natural! It was just a few hairs here and there but it looked so real! It's definitely doable. Just make sure you go to someone really good.
