I'm looking for an alarm clock that, among other things (analog face, battery operated, small) only rings for one minute so that I can use it on Shabbos without the whole house waking up.
The problem is that it doesn't seem to say in any online descriptions how long the ring goes for, I went to a couple of stores and the clocks don't have batteries so I can't try them out, and the salespeople don't know the details either.
So is there any way to find this out? Or anyone know of a specific alarm clock that fits these needs?

Kosher Innovations makes a Shabbos Alarm Clock that rings for exactly a minute on Shabbos mode. The newer version has up to 10 alarms. It's pretty small and portable and has both a Shabbos and Weekday feature. Most Judaica stores carry it. The price is between 20-25 dollars.

Here's a link to the product: http://www.kosherimage.com/kosherclock3.html

Another option: Buy a cheap kids digital wristwatch with an alarm. The alarm won't be that loud though and it is easy to sleep through.

We have a battery operated alarm clock and put it into the fridge when it rings.

I'd really prefer an analog timeface which is limiting me a lot. The kosher innovations one is digital. Oh, and a loud ring is a must.

<Sigh> This is really my husband's list - he had a (horrifically loud) alarm clock for the past 8 years or so that my son knocked onto the floor and now it can be temperamental about waking time.

Sonic boom alarm clock fits all your descriptions besides analog. It is small, battery-operated, rings for one minute, and can be set to vibrate so nobody else is awakened (unless you drop it on the wooden floor. Then everyone has a LOOOONG one minute while it rings!)

I highly recommend.

The vibration is strong so it's good for people who don't hear low beeps. The beeping is fairly loud too but that's not the main attraction.

Op I found a few Analog clocks that shut off after 5 minutes. They run between $30-$40, are you interested?

Just saw this now, when I was coming to bump up the thread - I might be - are they still around?

Anyone else who can refer me to an analog alarm clock with a one minute ring would be greatly appreciated
