Voicemail recording

I played around with my phone and lost my voicemail recording that I had for 7 years!
Now that I have to make a new one, it seems so overwhelming, everything sounds stupid Smile

I'm an adult so I don't want anything too cutesy (especially if my mother is going to be calling me Smile

) but the classic seems dumb. I mean as if anyone needs to hear instructions to leave a message anymore?

So guys, what's your voicemail recording? Can you share any that you've heard that you liked?
Is your cellphone recording different to your family phone (besides for the name)?

Please discuss.

I posted it here so people can be amother if they fear being outed by their post.

I use the default that comes with the machine.

I had my 6-year old memorize a message and say it. ("Hi, you've reached the __ family. Please leave a message and we'll try to get back to you as soon as we can. Have a great day!")
