Desperate for a nanny

Hi we are desperate to hire a nanny for my delicious kinderlach. The older ones are in school till around 4:30-5 but the younger ones are home.
The nanny needs to speak english well, be able to handle a few kids at a time, be responsible, warm and friendly.
Where can I find one? Any leads would be really appreciated!!
btw- I'm located in nj

anyone?! we pay very nicely, have a separate room for the nanny and 1-2 days off a week!

obviously we tried that! the agencies here only have baby nurses, I need s/o who can deal w/ many ages ....

Did you look into au pairs? I have colleagues at work in North Jersey who use au pairs and are very happy.

Do you want a frum person or are you looking for anyone? Does anyone in your neighborhood have a nanny that might have a friend or a relative looking for a job?

My nanny recently underwent open heart surgery and I hired a replacement week 5 after she left. Michelle was great with my 5 kids and was incredibly pleasant and efficeint. I only let her go because my original nanny was ablle to come back sooner.

Michelle is from Jamaica and she is active and young. I would have loved to find her something before I let her go, but I couldn't. I highly recommend her and would be happy to put you in touch.

She was looking for a live-in position.

Is it just someone from Jamaica - or are you not willing to hire a non-jewish person to live in? If you are looking for a frum live in nanny, that is going to be tough to find.

My daughter, a beis yakov graduate from Bnei Brak, is looking for an au pair position - she has fluent English and loves kids and is very good with them.
