Nekudos in photoshop are not aligned - help please!

Does anyone have any experience in getting this right? When I copy and paste hebrew text into photoshop, the nekudos are not aligned correctly. they are too far left. And I have figured out how to adjust them manually but its not a good solution as I have a lot of text.

I do type hebrew in Photoshop but never tried nekudos. I also don't know how to do it in word.

How do you do that?

Which version of photoshop you are using?

It may have to do with the font you're using. Some handle the nekudos placement better than others. There is a free font called SBL Hebrew that is better than many of the Davka ones at this.

Depending on the design, sometimes I "cheat", though I fully admit I rarely do Hebrew designs. If it works in Word, or InDesign, can you either save the block of text as a PDF, import to Photoshop and then either delete the background or design that particular area in a program where it works better?

crl - we think alike! I had that idea. the problem is that I have so many different portions of text that that way would take a very very long amount of time.

thanks ootbubby, I'll check out that font.

I'm using CS4.
