I am gonna have to strongly disagree with you on this one. Borat may be skinny, but toned??? excellent shape??? UGH
The scenes of his naked body made me gag. I am guessing the star lost weight for the film, because I would hope that isnt how he actually maintains his physique.

the movie is rated R
it has scenes of nude men that last more than you would want to watch
I would skip this movie and see somthing else .
dont bother to see stranger than fiction its so boring
I fell asleep at that movie .

maybe I am wrong, I didn't see the whole movie yet, I just watched the clip- "throw the jew. . "
is it at all possible that the ppl in that audience didn't really pay attention to the words and were just singing along with a "catchy" tune and a funny looking guy?
I mean, do you always listen to the words of every song????

The word Jew is very clear in the song. If you'd been at the bar would you have sung along b/c the tune was "catchy"? I would hope not.
Furthermore, in his movie, he says nasty things outright about Jews, women, and minorities, and people agreed with him heartily.

its not the point. Have you ever lived in the midwest or the south? trust me, I have, the avg person there has never seen a jew and doesn't know what we are. it doesn't strike the same chord as it does with you obviously b/c you are jewish. to them its not a word that stands out. I wouldn't sing along b/c id hear the word jew and stop but think about lots of other nursery rhymes and songs that youve never stopped and thought about.. .

Yes, Shimmysmom, I AM from the Midwest - born and raised. And from my experience, the type of people that have never seen, or don't personally know a Jew are generally the ones that are the most anti-semitic. These are the people that are ignorant enough to truly believe that Jews have horns and that we are all great businessmen. Recently, when I was in the Midwest, someone told me I was lucky to be a business minded Jew. Shimmysmom, they definitely know what Jews are, and I've experienced their blind hatred.
I'm not saying that everyone blindly hates Jews, but don't fool yourself into thinking they didn't know what they were singing.
You're right, they may not have personal interaction with Jews, but they do know what Jews are and they know all about the different stereotypes.
