ISO good shiur in brooklyn for my age group

Hey we just moved from Israel, where my dh was in kollel and now were living in brooklyn... Such a different life, dh working and me not having "kollel wife" friends...
I need some spirituality, does anyone know of any shiurim in flatbush for my age group where I can make friends that will have a positive effect on my life?

Ohr naava has shiurim almost every night I think. Check out their website.

yea I know about ohr nava, but I find that its usually like younger seminary girl crowd... am I wrong?

Brooklyn is a very big place, and you didn't actually say your age range... or hashkafic 'type'. I don't live in Brooklyn right now (actually in Israel) but it may help giving some more specifics about yourself.

k so im talking flatbush area, and im 23, and have a little baby. im not sure how to describe my hashkafic type- I guess I can say that Im looking for a place where there are growing women that are not too yishivish but still frum and good people. I guess I can try out ohr navaa and see if its good for me.

I think that there's a yeshiva on Coney between J and K (not Chaim Berlin - this is a smallish yeshiva) that has shiurim for the kollel wives. I wonder if they have other people coming too? That's all I know - which I know is not a help unless someone else here knows about it...

Other than that... There are summer shiurim in the Bostoner shul (29th and J) in the summer from Irgun Shiurei Hatorah. I don't think that's such a way to get to know people, per se, but it might be. They're every weekday, I think, in English, and generally very good speakers and topics.

Yad Yosef has women shiurim also. I'm not sure of the times and places but they put ads in the local papers, .
