I want to make side dishes from noodles. Not something that takes long or is fancy, just simple and easy for a simple supper
any ideas?

you can do Pasta with Sauted Shredded Cabbage
Angel Hair with Onion soup mix and soy
Pasta with Browned Bread Crumbs and Sugar
Pasta Salad

| orzo or isreali couscous is easy. saute onions and/or other veggies, add the couscous or orzo, and water and cook till done.

Cook Angel Hair as per Package Instruction.
You then Mixe even amounts of Soy Sauce and Onion soup mix, diluted in Water/Oil.
Mix, and rewarm.

Lo mein, orzo, couscous, farfel, spaghetti, cabbage and noodles, etc...
I may have repeated what others have said but all are yum.

low mein
noodles and fried bread crumbs
speghetti(for meatballs)

what about kasha varnishkes?
I also like israeli couscous - "ptitim." it tastes more like pasta than couscous and it's really easy and yummy. the kind with the onions is really good.
