Swedish Massage

This past winter I was treated to a massage in an really nice spa, something that I hadn't had in years.
The masseuse asked me if I had ever gotten a massage before and if I knew how it worked. I told her that I did, so she told me to get ready, and left the room.
When I got undressed, I couldn't remember if I was supposed to remove my panties or not. I was too embarrased to ask her, just took of my undies, and slipped under the sheet.
I got a few regular massages at salons in my single days, but didn't remember how it was done!
For the future, what should I do? What is the proper etiquette?

I think it goes undress to as much as makes you feel comfortable. never past that line.

I also recently got one. U take off everything but panty. Yuuuuuuum I need one desperately now!

I take off my panty. They are great about keeping me covered, and it just works better for me that way esp when they get to the upper leg.

I am a total massage junkie, and I usually wear a thong, which I keep on. BUT, most times the masseuse will just roll them down because they're in her way..so it's probably fine (and maybe even easier) to go without Smile

I give massages and the lady do whatever they feel more comfortable if they want with the panties or without it really doesnt matter, I keep them covered anyway but it is easier to give a massage when you are undressed and covered with a sheet

why does a bra need to be removed? The breasts are not massaged, are they? Excuse my ignorance, im thinking of a massage, but kind of clueless as to the logistics.

Bra is removed because the back straps and clasp get in the way of the massage.
