Has anyone taken her course? I feel like I'm at wit's end with my oldest who is all of 3! As much as I try to stay calm, he knows how to press my buttons... He's not an easy child; he gets frustrated and nervous very easily. Since he's been a baby he was difficult to please and calm...
If you've taken her course, please tell me if you've found it helpful. How long did it help for? (I'm afraid that after a few months the effects wear off) Does she give practical advice? or more hashkafadig?
TIA!

I found that by speaking to someone privately regarding my very difficult son was/is very helpful.

When a child is so tough the general rules don't always apply so focusing on my child ONLY is what I need.

BTW - my friends have not stopped speaking about how amazing Dina Friedman is - I'm just saying what has been effective for me.

She deals with difficult children too...she will help you understand why your child is so difficult and how to deal with him. She seems to have all the answers as crazy as that sounds!

I took her course last year. It is very well-organized and comprehensive, inspiring and yes, life-changing. Once you take the course, you can still access all the lessons for a minimal fee. It is a great combination of lots of techniques (for you AND your child) plus live Q&A's that teach you how to apply the lessons.
I was a pretty good mom before the course, IMO.
But the course helped me specifically with some problems I had with specific kids, and gave me an overall sense of control and confidence.

I love her class! she gives hashkofa and also solid parenting techniques. she explains why kids act a certain way and how to change your thoughts about parenting in general.

How and when do you need to register? The class structure is a bit confusing.
It just says registration open October 2012, does that mean I call then to register?
Once registered how do the classes go? Once a week? For how long? And is there a way to access the material if you miss a class?

Is it over the phone or via skype?

there are about 34 classes that are posted every sunday.either on the phone;you call in to a special number and get the classes or on the website. there are some breaks for yom tov it ends in september

you can access missed classes either through the phone menu or online

you can also buy the mp3 at the end of the session I will be doing this I will want to relisten to a lot of what she said.
