Pen mark removal

now with white shell season in I am having a hard time with pen marks. its the 2nd time in a few wks im getting a pen slash on my shell and I dont know how to really remove it. my workmates suggest spraying hair spray and I tried it but it didnt work.

anyone know the trick how to make it work? once I spray, should I scrub it? let it sit? soak it? wash it in the machine right away?

any other trick to get these marks out?

I just washed DH's pen-marked shirt in bleach, and it didn't fully come out. I also put it in the dryer before I realized that, so now I've really given up hope Sad

Sorry I'm not better help, but thought I'd let you know bleach isn't enough.

I was told to put a rag behind the stain, then blott it out w/ rubbing alchohol. (I'm not sure how to wash it after that.)

I've been successful removing pen mark stains with hair spray.... just spray & watch the magic, no rubbing...

alchohol, but you need to use some eblow grease..... my kids once scribbled up a new set of linen, I was so determined to get it out, I spent over an hour just scrubbing with alchohol, and B"H it worked!
