I have a Honda Civic. My 6 month old is about to outgrow her infant seat, and I need to buy a convertible, but I want to have full use of my two other back seats. The front passenger seat should also be able to go back enough to fit my DH's LOOONG legs, at least enough so that if he's not comfortable, at least he fits.

Given that she's already long and heavy, I want something with large weight/height limits.

I also don't want to spend much money...

Is it even possible? Do I just deal with spending more money, or having DH ride behind me?

I was looking at the Diono Radian, and the First Years Truefit, but they both seem really really expensive. DD has hated the car since birth, so I'm hoping for something that will also make her happy...

The car has LATCH, and I have no intention of moving the car seat once it's installed, so that, at least, is simple.

The Radian is a lot more than the TF...so what is your budget?
How long do you plan on keeping her RF for?

I would suggest, if you are looking for a cheaper car seat, to look at Evenflo Triumph LX since it doesn't take a lot of front to back space and has decent height limits. Not the best out there, but a good value for your money.

My budget is...as cheap as possible while still meeting my needs. If the only thing that would meet my needs is the Radian, I would consider getting it, but would prefer something closer to 150 or under.

I want to keep her RF as long as I can without hysterics or her outgrowing the seat.
I'll look into that one, thanks!

The Radian is actually not that great in terms of front to back space, IIRC.
