Ds's classmate behaving inappropriately - WWYD?

Ds informed me that there is a boy in his class (3-4 yos) that grabs other boys' private parts through their pants. From what I understand, it's pretty random, not like during a fight or whatever, and only on top of their pants. He does it to lots of kids. Again, going just by what my 3yo told me. Ds didn't seem particularly disturbed by this, he just mentioned it in passing as we were having a conversation about personal privacy etc. I've taught him how to defend himself, but I'm just wondering if this issue is normal preschooler naughtiness that will be outgrown or can it be an indicator of something more, and if there are any other actions I need to be taking.

The only thing I think you actually can do in this situation is inform the teacher of what your ds said. Let her be on the lookout to see if/when/how often it occurs. You can always follow up with her to make sure something is being done to investigate the situation, but remember, you are hearing it from your 3 y.o. ds, you have not seen it yourself, and it also could be age-appropriate behavior. So you really are not in the position right now to much more.

I agree with Shopmiami. Definitely bring it to the teacher's attention, making sure that she doesn't take it as if you're upset with the school or anything. Just as an fyi for her to keep her eye on.

Definitely tell the teacher and make sure she does something about it. Maybe it is just silliness, but situations like this can get worst.
