my 13 month old dd vomits on a daily basis- she has been spitting up since she was born, but lately its gotten so crazy- she vomits almost every single day without fail. Ive gone to the dr numerous times, she always says she is probably "getting over a virus". Im rlly getting nervous. Tonight I was all dressed and out shopping with her and dh and she vomited a crazy amount all over me in the store, like tons, her entire supper (and shes not a great eater so I was so excited she had a good meal tonite) its just rlly hard for me,I feel so bad for her, I also am always left with stinking clothes to wash in the sink (no washer dryer) but most of all im sooo worried about her! Im thinking of taking her to a gastro. What do u reccomend? thank you

this is not normal! vomiting is never normal, even for infants. infants may spit up, but vomiting is a sign of a problem. if your dd doesn't have a virus get a new pediatrician tomorrow! don't let a any dr disregard your mothering intuition. it sounds like you are right about this one. can I repeat this again? Get a new pediatrician tomorrow!!!!!!!!
it doesnt surprise me that shes not a great eater-who wants to eat when they know that food makes them feel cr@ppy. there are medications or dietary changes you could try. also the pediatrician might refer you to a GI specialist who could pinpoint the problem. don't give up until you feel that the problem is being addressed, your daughter needs you to advocate for her!

Have you seen a trigger in her diet? I would try cutting out dairy for two weeks. Maybe even gluten.

def take to a gastro. also take her to an allergist. she may have some serious food allergies. I would try dietary changes before meds if possible. the meds gastros prescribe are pretty harsh. and yes, change pediatricians.

All this.

you might not need to go that far-the pediatrician might be able to help first also, they could recommend someone really good.

Its also possible that she has a bad case of reflux.
Goiing to a GI is a great idea cuz they'll know whats causing it (probably)
if not they also do the allergy testing there.

My son had reflux and by now he's off the medication and its almost gone.
he's one and vomits ONLY like once a day, as opposed to every meal.
And he started liking food once he was on meds!

I also had a son who threw up regularly (and still does more often than what would be considered normal). Whenever I asked his doctor about it, the doctor said that there were two questions to ask: 1) Is he growing at a healthy pace? (and the answer was yes, BH) and 2) Is he in pain? (and the answer in our case was no). So we didn't do anything about it for a while, until he started waking up in the middle of the night and vomiting in his bed. At that point, we asked for meds for reflux and it's been helping quite a bit. Now, I'd say that he only vomits maybe 2-3 times per month (as opposed to 2-3 times per week, pre-meds).

This could be ciliac. Almost everyone in my family has it. You just have to ask your doc to check for it.
