You dont find a lot of them, you create them.
Babysiting-you advertise, get the word out through friends etc
Running a store in your house-you contact wholesalers, purchase and advertise
Running a website store- you create the website, manage it and advertise.

Actual book keeping etc you need skills for and should train first

You make your own opportunities! Working at home means being self-motivated and doing most of the legwork yourself.

First thing, look around your community for what's missing and find a way to fulfill that need. Don't be the 15th lady who sells kids shoes out of her garage.

If there's something you can do (cut hair, style sheitels, make fancy cookies, build websites) then you advertise yourself.

If there's something that you're interested in selling out of your home, then you track down a wholesaler or an importer and make an arrangement to get inventory.

If you have computer skills, then post your resume online... scour online job boards for contract jobs and go to sites like elance to find freelance work.

I recruit for a couple of different direct sales/ network marketing companies. If you like sales, that might be up your alley.

Think about what you are good at and what you enjoy. I did exercise classes in my house for local ladies.

that depends on the field. I've hired freelancers for $45 an hour (VA's for instance), $100 an hour.... and even $10 an hour (home office assistant). It depends on the skill set and what's needed. I've also paid people per project rather than by hour. (people to write articles for me, etc)

Personally I don't make a set income---- some days I make nothing and some days I make $500. If over the course of the month I'm making what my income goal is, I don't care if I have a few $0 days in a row (as long as I have enough $400 and $500 days Smile)
