I was thinking to myself that I hate when I offer a friend help with something and they don't take me up on it. Then I thought, no, I love when I offer a friend help with something and they do take me up on it  .
I'm an optimist when it comes to other peoples problems, but more of a pessimist when it comes to mine  .

I realized that saying I'm an optimist when it comes to other peoples problems, it might mean I'm happy about it, but that's not what I meant. I meant that it's easier to see the best for them when other people have a problem.

I grew up with ultra optimistic sunshiney everyone is nice mom, kah. I am combatting it to be more realistic and not expect things to always be good, so I'm not disappointed and have good surprises - without becoming a cynic...

I'm an optimist.... probably because I'm clueless about how bad the situation really is...lol.
I seriously believe that Hashem helps out those of us who are simple and happy and don't think about things too much.

sometimes I’m unrealistic too! that's one of the things my husband keeps me grounded on. he's an optimist but very realistic. but lately I think we are starting to swich roles here...
I think life is much more fun and happy if your an optimist.
